"The Pinarello X Series is aimed at cyclists who want a more comfortable, relaxed fit, whilst still maintaining the aesthetics of a race bike. It is available with the below specifications:

Pinarello X1 with 105 mechanical.

Pinarello X5 with 105 Di2 and carbon wheels.

Pinarello X7 with Ultegra Di2, carbon wheels and carbon bar/stem.

Pinarello Dogma X which uses the same carbon as the Dogma F and is available with SRAM Red or Shimano Dura Ace.

I rode a 57.5cm Dogma X with Dura Ace and was surprised and impressed in equal measures by it's performance.

The first notable point and arguably the main purpose of the bike...the comfort. Wow! The Italian steed was an absolute dream to ride, and straight from the bat felt like a bike you could spend hours on. (Spoiler - the ride was just under 5 hours and I enjoyed every minute in the saddle).

The more relaxed (higher and slacker) front end, gives you the option to run less spacers beneath the stem for a more racey feel/look. Or the ability to run a much less aggressive saddle to bar drop than the thoroughbred racing, Dogma F.

Needless to say, one of the first things I did was take it for a full sprint, and this is where the Dogma X really started to impress me. It snapped into motion and felt every bit a bike capable of racing on, despite the super-compliant rear end.

On the climbs, it really did come alive. I felt the benefits of the lightweight T1100 1K carbon fibre, Dura Ace spec and carbon wheels. It felt super nimble and would have fooled me into believing I was aboard a full-blown climbing bike.

Aesthetically, in my opinion, it doesn't really get much better. For some reason pulling up to a cafe on a Pinarello carries weight - more so than any other brand in my experience. I think that credence comes from the combination of proper, racing heritage, Italian attention to detail/style and modern, forward-thinking designs. The Dogma X in Xolar Black looks insanely cool, and classy at the same time.

Overall, the Dogma X felt responsive when you wanted it to accelerate, and comfortable when you wanted to cruise. It really is a true all-rounder and for most people, ticks all the boxes."
