Cycling can really improve our physical health, but it can also have an amazing, positive impact on mental well-being – especially when we ride with others!
Riding with others can increase our motivation to get out (especially at this time of year 🌧) and can help us push ourselves to go further or faster than we would alone.
But perhaps more importantly, it provides a sense of camaraderie and community, which in turn can help relieve the stresses daily life chucks at us 💆🏼♀️ We meet people on group rides who we wouldn’t normally chat to and make friends we otherwise wouldn’t have had.
This sense of community – people to talk to, on and off the bike, is a massive reason why we put so much effort into organising social rides and events.
