Thanks to a combination of specifically-selected materials, unique geometry, and a truly innovative rear-end, the Pinarello X strikes the perfect balance between reactivity, performance and comfort.

When developing the new Pinarello X, they focused on creating a rear triangle that excelled at absorbing vibrations while also providing generous tyre clearance, up to 32mm. Combined with the latest generation of tubeless tyres, this provides an unrivalled blend of pedalling comfort, precise handling, and responsive performance.

FLEXSTAYS

An exclusive Pinarello design that absorbs vibrations without reducing the responsiveness of the rear triangle. The seat stays are slightly curved, allowing full advantage of the T600 carbon fibre’s special lay-up to absorb vibrations on even the roughest of roads. This means serious comfort, without needing to resort to the addition of a mechanical damping system, which would increase weight and drastically reduce performance.

The Pinarello X takes full advantage of the latest innovation in wheels and tyres. The last two editions of Paris-Roubaix have been won on conventional road frames, with 32mm tubeless tyres. This proves definitively that when it comes to balancing speed and control on difficult terrain, tyre clearance is the answer.

Pinarello have always relied on partner Toray, the best carbon fibre producer in the world. Toray’s T600 is the ideal carbon fibre for an Endurance frame, with a lay-up that offers the ideal mix of low weight, responsiveness, and dampening ability.
