Cycling can really improve our physical health, but it can also have an amazing, positive impact on mental well-being – especially when we ride with others!
Riding with others can increase our motivation to get out (especially at this time of year π§) and can help us push ourselves to go further or faster than we would alone.
But perhaps more importantly, it provides a sense of camaraderie and community, which in turn can help relieve the stresses daily life chucks at us ππΌββοΈ We meet people on group rides who we wouldnβt normally chat to and make friends we otherwise wouldnβt have had.
This sense of community – people to talk to, on and off the bike, is a massive reason why we put so much effort into organising social rides and events.
